Getting the right ingredients are always the main part of cooking/baking.I always go 'UGHHHH!' when i see something that is hard to find.Once i saw and realized its hard to find,i will immediately say 'okay thats it!its hard''.Ok ok,you people might think i'm not really passion about food.In fact i am, but i wanna start slowly.SLOOOOOWWWWLLLLLYYYYYY geddit?Plus usually they will ask you to buy high quality ingredients in order to achieve the same exact taste but...I don't have really have much money to afford a lot of high quality ingredients T_T
And what about equipments? well you don't have to follow exactly what kind of equipments since there are some different types of equipment that have similar functions, for example if you have hand mixer, why would you spend $100-$500 on stand mixer when both is kinda the same?Well unless you have enough money to buy it of cos.Better save up that money and buy stuffs that you don't have for cooking right?
That doesn't mean i won't buy it,like i said,i want to start slowly.I want to buy stuffs i don't have first for cooking. If i have everything then i would invest on good stand up mixer which can make my life easier.
So if you say which is harder to find, ingredients or equipments, i would say ingredients.I'm sure some of you would disagree about this. But equipments here is soo easily available and you can find them cheap especially if you can find them at Daiso(omg i always in love with Daiso!<3)
So for all of you peeps who has passion about food but wanna start slowly like me,do find cheap yet functioning equipments. And as you move along, invest on good stuffs! And do try to make something simple at first and by gaining more experience on simple food, you can have better hands on cooking something more complex;)
I'll end my post with this quote, its my own lame quote *ehem ehem hipster mode activated lololol*
If you know how to cook rice, then you able to to learn how to make fried rice. You wouldnt want to make a fried porridge would you?Start something simple;)-RiaRia
