Yoguru Green Tea Frozen Yoghurt

As I walking back towards the bus stop to go home, I saw a small yoghurt booth called Yoguru near Lucky Plaza. I decided to have some healthy snack before dinner so I went to order a yoghurt for myself. As I browsed through the flavours and loads of delicious toppings,I saw that you can choose green tea yoghurt flavour. I was like "I MUST GET THIS!'' cos I always have this philosophy that green tea flavour suits/matches with all kinds of food, from drinks to cakes to even beancurd! (ohh dun get me started of that green tea beancurd!I might post about that soon!)

I picked green tea flavour yoghurt and decided to add mango chunks as my toppings. I dunno but...I've never seen a generous amount of mango chunks like this before!WOAH mad love to the max! I was only able to get a pict of my yoghurt cos there were too many ppl and I felt very paiseh if I take many picts hehe.

I mean...LOOK AT THOSE CHUNKS!
I love the tangy taste of the yoghurt and the slight sweetness from the green tea.Like i said before, green tea flavour just matches with anything! The mangoes is just heavenly, this little thing made my day a whole lot better <3
The price can be a bit pricey as one topping costs 90cents and the smallest cup you can get is about $3.30(original)/$3.50(flavour).Thus,i had to pay $4.40 but hey its worth it since the portion is just right and the toppings is generous.

Overall:4.5/5

Hope you peeps would try it especially if youre yoghurt-lover!Can find more information here http://www.yoguru.com.sg/

Tada!

Hei Sushi and Coldstone

Bestie and I planned to go to Hei Sushi for lunch,so we took a trip to Downtown East for our jap lunch.Actually that was my first time going there,so it got me all excited for it! For those of you who don't know about Hei Sushi, it is actually a so-called halal version of Sakae Sushi. So it is usually caters for the muslims to try out authentic jap food.

My bestie!

We ate a lot of sushi,at least 9 plates I think. My favourite was the green colour plate sushi which you can see from above,I don't know what that was but its very chewy and have a little sweetness.Me love!

As for the main course, I ordered Tenzaru Soba with assorted tempuras. Actually I kinda picked the wrong dish as the environment there was very cold, and I picked cold dish for my main course -.- .But thats okay cos, though it was quite plain looking apart from the tempura,it was actually very nice. I placed some of the noodles into the soba soup, added some wasabi, after that stirred them up.Then I ate the noodle while sipping some soba soup. YUMS! As for the tempura,it was great too.But what can we really expect from tempura?Since its usually taste great no matter who cooks it. But there was one tempura which taste like bittersweet pickles and kinda taste a bit weird so I didnt eat it.:S

Bestie picked Spicy Ramen,at first I thought I shouldve picked that one but I changed my mind then picked Tenzaru Soba instead. Turned out,my dish was perhaps better than her XD.I drank the the ramen soup,it tasted quite bland and it was not spicy at all. Bestie agreed with me about its spiciness which doesnt exist in the soup LOL.

As for the scallops, I don't know if they use real scallop or fake scallop cos the scallops that i ate, tasted like a crabstick. So I guess its nice as a cheap crabstick which can be found almost anywhere.

Fried Scallops

Overall rating: 3.5/5

Next,we went to Cold Stone Orchard Central outlet for our ice creams. Orchard you asked?Yes, we went from Downtown East to Orchard Central just for our desserts XD

I ordered cheesecake flavour ice cream and added a brownie and pecans as my toppings. The cheesecake flavour is too strong for an ice cream, in my opinion.Maybe you can add cheesecake as a topping but not as ice cream flavour. It taste like rancid milk :X  But hey, at least my brownie and pecans helped. I managed to finish it though. Bestie chose same ice cream flavour but her topping was choc chips and rainbow sprinkles.

Overall Rating: 3/5(actually I wanted to put 2.5 but since it has a good service and ambience, I would add 0.5 points more)

Thats the end of this post, hope to post more soon!Ta Da!

Sour cream bake potato and Cajun chicken rice

Me and my family decided to go and have lunch at Wendy's last two weeks, cos I had this amazing coupon deal especially for their awesome illustrations of their bake potatoes. And it was only for $2.50,sounds like an amazing deal right?

My mom chose sour cream bake potato while i chose cheese and broccoli bake potato. I find sour cream one was the most appetizing among other baked potatoes, but when I ate it,I was like '........eeeek....'.Sour cream and potatoes together is a big NO-NO.Seriously, I almost wanted to vomit when I ate it. Bluek...

Nasty Baked Potato
Broccoli with cheese bake potato
Luckily I picked broccoli which wasn't that bad but still a bit bland.
Next lets talk about the Popeyes Cajun Chicken Rice, which I find a big hype.
Firstly I thought the rice would amazing place like this...

Then when I got my meal,it turned out like this....

And my reaction to when I got my rice..

Credits to google

It taste like a bad version of Nasi Goreng Kampong lah! I rather spend around $3 for Nasi Kampong than this which cost $4.95. I regret eating this, maybe other ppl like it but certainly not me.
Okay thats the end of some random food review.See ya!Taa Daa!

From Maid To Minah

Many ppl say that I look more like a filipino than malay :/ I wonder what does a typical malay look like then. But I do know one thing, malay minahs usually have this thin,high-arched eyebrows. For those of you who don't know whats is a minahs, it is usually a malay sub-culture of a particular group of girls. Okay,I am not trying to bash the minahs but but but, last time I used to see most of them wear wrong colour foundations,it is always two or three shades lighter than skin colour. However,I guess they are now smart enough to pick better foundation.

Actually there is only one thing which I couldnt understand about them,I tried to but i cant, which is their eyebrows.. their archs are very high and makes them look older than their age.Okay,Im not trying to offend this ppl,I agree some of them looks nice with those high arch, but I think it looks nicer if their eyebrows are more subtle.

Haha speaking of which,I decided to pull of a minah look, this is what I called from maid to minah XD

like OMG I look 5 years older than my age.O_O
Haha i purposely put tons of concealer to cover my eyebrows before starting to make a very high arch. I guess I looked a little lot of malay hereXD
This is so not me hahaha!

Okay abrupt end of a post with this pict taa daa!
Back to my usual filipino look!

Football Bits: Excelsior and Real Madrid

Excelsior:
I am sure most of you don't know about SBV Excelsior.  Excelsior  is a small team which currently playing in second league in Holland. You must be asking why i brought this up,it is because it is my favourite team too other than Real. Yes it is not that popular but hey I just like them:)

Excelsior has just won against Sparta rival.I hope they would do better in the league soon:)

Real Madrid:
Lost again in the battle against Celta De Vigo. I really hope they would improve,i think this season is just not for them. But my support for them stays:)

Canmake Blush Milky Heart PW29

I need a blusher, not that i don't have a blusher,it is just that i gave my e.l.f blush (its too shimmery for me) to my mom and I currently have my Canmake cream cheek blusher. But the cream cheek did not look natural on my cheeks,my bad for picking the colour Vitamin Orange -.-. But I cannot deny Canmake cream cheeks are very good and pigmented so go and try one of them!:) It is just that I pick something that its so vibrant and unnatural for me
:(

So I saved some money to buy a blush, I have to say I really do love Canmake so I decided to buy another product from them. One thing about me is that I trust asian products more than american/european ones. Haha asian pride! Hey though I am not chinese, japanese or korean, I AM an ASIAN lol. Okay back to the topic, I decided I had enough with cream blush and I wanted to go back to powder blush.

I went to Watson's store (Watson's is like a Sephora for me lol XD) and looked through Canmake powder blush collection. At first I saw this blush called Strawberry Red PW30, I was tempted to buy it but then again i recalled back about my Vitamin Orange,it is very vibrant. Haha I think you can guess that I always tempted to buy something vibrantXD.

Strawberry Red. Credits to google

Then i saw this powder blush called Milky Heart PW29, it is soft milky pink colour, I think there is a little bit of coral colour in it. It is not shimmery nor matte,I wish it would be a matte colour though but oh well. But the colour is quite pretty and subtle so I bought it. I want to swatch it on my hand to see how it look like on my skin but there is no tester for this colour. But I bought it anyway.

It looked quite matte in a camera but it's actually not
So I swatched it on my hand and this is how it looked like

As you can see(or you cannot),it did not really show up on my skin that well. After I blend,it was almost invisible. I tried to put it on my face, and again did not show up that well, but it gives a slight hint of pink if I were to look at my face closer. I think that the blusher is better for fair skin T_T. But I really love the colour of the blush,it is just that my face is too dark for it show up.Sigh...but since it does give me a little tiny bit of colour on my cheek,I still gonna use it for a while :).Hey its better than my cheeks being so vibrant! I hope to find my holy grail or almost-holygrail blusher one day:)Taa Daa!

RiaGirl: Perfect Oil Make Up Remover

Have you ever heard a product name called senka? Me neither lol,I heard that recently it just arrived in Singapore?:O. I went to Watsons to buy a good and affordable make up remover as my previous one almost empty. Personally I hated my previous make up remover but due to not wanting to waste more money to buy another brand,I ended up use it till its almost empty :/ Why do I hate it? cos my skin feels so dry like it can tear anytime soon after using it :(  Well begone now! Cos now I just bought a make up remover called Perfect Oil by Senka.

Claims:
1.Rapidly unclogs horny(hehe sounds funny) plug and removes waterproof mascara.

2.Can be used with wet hands and face

3.Retains moisture in skin

It also claims that the make up remover is made with moisturizing serum ingredients. Sounds good huh? We'll see!

I.LOVE.IT.
My skin feels so smooth and not dry!:O Whenever I used a liquid make up remover, my skin would feel either very dry or my skin would itch especially my eyes, but this! this DOESN'T irritate my skin at all! Amazefishball! The texture is slightly thick when you put it on your palm, but when applied to face,it feels kinda light. At first I was a bit doubtful this might be another typical make up remover like the previous one but I was surprised it removes and moisturises at the same time.

I fell in love with this instantly omg.
For those of you who wanna go ahead and try them, please do.And its affordable:)
Tada!

FootballBits: Real Madrid are through

Congrats Real Madrid for qualified for the next round of Champions League.Happy for them:) Ajax are through for Europa League even though they were beaten as Man city were again beaten. Hala Madrid!

RiaGirl: Sweet Vintage

I am no make up artist nor make up guru. I'm just someone who likes to create different look for fun at times.

No-make me!

As i browse through magazines,I always admire vintage classy look. But I cannot pull off vintage look that well,i dunno why, probably because of my rolly polly face :\

Then I decided to match sweet and vintage together to create a classy yet have a hint of 'sweetness' look.

And here it is....

Red lipstick is absolute for that classy and elegant touch and I extended the wing a little further to create an illusion of wide eyes and I lined my bottom line and connected them to the wing, thus it looked like I have a sweet doe-eyes. As you can see my eyebrows don't have arch, thus soften the look. To finish off the look,I put my hair to the side and clipped them with a big flower clip

Toilet has the best lighting LOL
To be honest,I don't usually wear eyeliner and red lipstick, my usual look will always be subtle with a hint of colour. But like I said I like to do it for fun.So, I will usually  remove the make up once I took some picture of myself :P
Have fun!

FoodRiAdventure: Bedok Corner

Ayah brought me and my family to Bedok Corner for dinner. It's been a long time since I came to that place. What i like about this place is at least 60% of the stalls are halal. So its a great hang out for muslim friends:)
And as always, the place is quite crowded especially at night,so be sure to come there a bit early, we were just lucky there was an empty seat for us to take.

Sorry for the bad lighting:( This is the stall where we bought for our meals. So we ordered Ikan Bakar(grilled fish), Kerang Rebus (boiled cockles!?) ,Sambal Kangkong (Kangkong veggie stir fried in a chili paste) and Tom Yum.

Sambal Kangkong
Ikan Bakar

Kerang Rebus
Do you know what is this?It is called Cincalok (as far as i know how to spell) Usually eaten with Ikan Bakar .

I forgot to upload Tom Yum Soup, but I have to tell you this, the Tom Yum Soup was meh.......Seriously my mom cooked a lot better than that lol. The Ikan Bakar was SUPERB! We ate the fish like there's no tomorrow hahaha. Cockles? simple and classic yet delicious especially dip with the sauce. Though I'm not sure if non-spicy eater would love it:P Sambal Kangkong is nice but can be improve, I wish they could cook them slightly longer cos the stems were kinda hard.

Overall Rating: 3/5

But wait, our stomachs still have a lot of room for..................

YES! SINFULLY SWEET AND JUICY CEMPEDAK GORENG!

I'm drooling for this as I type. OMG this is the juiciest cempedak goreng I've ever had. Plus its totally big! Well you have to chew it bit by bit,you can eat it as whole, cos you will have a bad time. Big mistake for me,I just put the whole cempedak goreng in my mouth and my jaw was tired as its very very chewy and hard to swallow.Took me at least 5 mins to swallow just one cempedak T_T.But that doesnt stop me from eating it! But please don't eat frequently cos it is very oily, not good for health  ;)
